The release of the MMORPG titled The Elder Scrolls Online on PC and Mac took place this April. As it was reported originally, the owners of the current-gen consoles had to try the new project in summer, however, later the developers postponed its launch for a year. But then, nobody could tell for sure whether this release is going to be postponed further or not. And finally, ZeniMax studio has officially confirmed the appearance of The Elder Scrolls Online on PS4 and Xbox One in 2015 by posting a holiday greeting on its site.

“Is it already time for the holidays again? This year has flown by, and it’s been a huge one for us at ZOS. We launched ESO on PC and Mac in April, and since then we’ve released five major updates and tons of improvements and fixes. Great fans like you have made it all possible, and we’ve appreciated all your support, feedback, and the awesome community you’ve formed. Seeing you enjoy the world we’ve built and show your enthusiasm with fan creations has inspired us all year.

Next year promises to be just as exciting as we introduce the Champion and Justice Systems, launch on the PS4 and Xbox One, and continue to release new adventures for you to experience. We can’t wait for you to see what we have in store for 2015!

Happy holidays to all of you from all of us. We hope they’re filled with adventure, feasting, and the best loot of all: time spent with your favorite party members”, - the message says.

Despite the fact that it’s still unknown when exactly the developers will release The Elder Scrolls Online on PS4 and Xbox One, it’s very pleasant to know that ZeniMax studio still remembers about the owners of the current-gen consoles.

Are you waiting for the console versions of this MMORPG? Or do you play The Elder Scrolls Online on PC?
