Recently, Activision company has officially announced the launch of CoD: Black Ops 3 on PS3 and Xbox 360. Let us remind you that the first information about this game appeared at the beginning of April. Originally, it was reported that the release of the future shooter will take place on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
However, according to Activision representatives, many fans of the series who have the last-gen consoles would also like to try the upcoming game. That’s why the decision to launch CoD: Black Ops 3 on PS3 and Xbox 360 has been taken. Both versions are being created by two studios - Beenox and Mercenary Technology.
The developers have promised that the players who will purchase CoD: Black Ops 3 on PS3 and Xbox 360 will be able to check out most of the features which are included into the project’s versions on PC or current-gen consoles. But it’s naturally that there will be some differences as well. Thus, for example, the cooperative mode will be designed only for two gamers and not for four as on PS4 and Xbox One. Besides, the last mentioned consoles will have another functionality which is impossible to repeat on PS3 and Xbox 360 because of technical reasons. Unfortunately, this is all known information about CoD: Black Ops 3 on PS3 and Xbox 360 for the current moment. Probably, we’ll get more details from the developers at E3 event, which is coming very soon.
As you remember, earlier, Activision told about the pre-order and revealed the minimum system requirements of the next instalment in the famous Call of Duty franchise.
