BioWare will support Dragon Age: Inquisition only on PC, PS4 and Xbox One by  3572 views

BioWare studio has shared the unpleasant news for the owners of Dragon Age: Inquisition on the last-gen consoles. According to the developers, unfortunately, the versions of the RPG on the mentioned platforms won’t get the additional content any more. From this moment, all next add-ons will be released only for Dragon Age: Inquisition on PS4, Xbox One and, of course, PC.

However, there’s pleasant news as well. The project’s developers will add a special feature titled Save Importer for those gamers who’d like to change the last-gen consoles to the current-gen ones. Thus, all earned progress, created characters, etc. may be transferred without any loss to Dragon Age: Inquisition on PS4 and Xbox One. But it’s worth saying that this option won’t support the cross-platform import. The new feature will be brought to the project with the next update already this month.

So, for example, if players have bought the latest launched DLCs titled Jaws of Hakkon and Spoils of the Avvar on PS3 and Xbox 360, then these add-ons will be available for download in Dragon Age: Inquisition on PS4 and Xbox One absolutely for free. The gamers can install them by using the same PSN or Xbox Live accounts.

By the way, yesterday, BioWare announced the new pack - Dragon Props. In order to get it, the gamers have to conquer a dragon in the multiplayer mode on the Fereldan Castle map. The bundle includes several dragon eggs, skulls and some other interesting and useful items.
