As you remember, last week, 343 Industries studio announced the Halo 2: Anniversary documentary. This project is dedicated to a 10-year jubilee of the original game’s launch and is intended to tell the players about the creation of its remake, which will be included to The Master Chief Collection. Earlier, it was assumed that the future film will be presented after the shooter’s remastered version is out. However, recently, the exact Halo 2: Anniversary documentary’s release date has been revealed.
So, according to the information from Microsoft company, the Halo 2: Anniversary documentary will become available for free download on Xbox Live on October 31st, 2014. The representatives of 343 Industries have mentioned that they have made about 400 hours of footage and have recorded 80 interviews with the developers, the fans of the shooter series, the best players and the various experts, including the head of Xbox - Phil Spencer - and the members of the team, which has created the original Halo 2, - Keith Davis, Max Hoberman, Joseph Staten and Marty O’Donnell. “It's pretty awesome to hear the original team from Bungie talk about the beginning of this franchise and it's something we think both new and old fans will appreciate”, - the 343 Industries’ director of programming - Tina Summerford - has said.
