Today all the fans of this tower defense game will be able to get the first Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare DLC, titled Garden Variety, for Xbox One and Xbox 360 absolutely free of charge. The add-on will be available as a mandatory install.
The Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare DLC will bring to the game a lot of interesting content, including:
- the fresh Chomp Town map. This town is as colorful and bright as the rest of the shooter’s world. It has the multi-level restaurants and shops, the narrow alleys with the scuffed buildings, in which the crazy zombies and the warlike plants hang around;
- each game’s class has got three new powers. For example, one of the additional skills is an ability to cement a zombie, and the rocket-launcher fires the whole three missiles, instead of one, now;
- the new Gnome Bomb mode, for which the Chomp Town map has been specially developed. The main players’ goal is to find a bomb, connected to the garden gnome’s back, and to detonate it on the enemy’s territory. Each team includes eight members;
- the collection of costumes and accessories for all characters.

Many users have already compared the new mode in the Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare DLC with the Obliteration one in Battlefield 4. Also it’s worth to mention that all other game’s modes are also available to play in the Chomp Town location.
