The Driveclub release date was officially announced yesterday at the PlayStation blog. According to the information from Sony Worldwide Studios, the launch of the upcoming racing simulator is planned for October 7th in North America. In Europe the game will appear on October 8th, 2014. As the president of Sony Worldwide Studios - Shuhei Yoshida - has said, this Driveclub trailer shows how impressive the racing simulator looks for the current moment. After all, the Evolution Studios team works hard and relentless in order to create the high quality product for its fans.
Let us remind you that previously the Driveclub release date was scheduled for early 2014, however, the developers faced some technical problems, including the questions concerning the implementation of the social features. That’s why Evolution Studios needed more time to solve them.
Moreover, Yoshida has noted that since February 2014 the new game director - Paul Rustchynsky - has been working in the Driveclub team. He has already run such project as MotorStorm: RC. "With Paul in the lead, we know DriveClub will deliver on its initial promise to be a truly next-gen racing title for our PS4 portfolio," - Yoshida has said.
