As you remember, yesterday, we reported about IGN portal preparing for the first official public demonstration of the updated GTA V on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. So now, we are ready to present you the latest details about the upcoming project, which have appeared online, as well as the new gameplay video and many fresh screenshots. So, make yourself comfortable, it will be interesting.
The first pleasant news is about the exclusive feature included only to the versions of GTA V on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. It’s the first-person mode, which hasn’t been presented in any previous parts of the series. “We’ve always been in interested in it, but it’s never really been an option for us. I don’t think we could’ve put it in the last-gen version because we were too busy making the game. We were too busy working on our third-person controls and the missions”, - the studio’s art director - Rob nelson - has said. “We were out of memory on the old consoles for animations. We were constantly fighting about what we could have and what we could still push in, and what other areas you could steal memory back from – audio, art, maps – for animation. So we could’ve added all the atoms to make a first-person mode to the level we wanted. We weren’t sure the world would have held up the way we would’ve wanted it to”, - he has added.
And we offer you to watch the action-adventure’s latest gameplay video in order to appraise the abovementioned mode:
The first-person mode in GTA V on PC, PS4 and Xbox One will be also available in the project’s online multiplayer. Besides, it will contain the new systems of cover and targeting and a great amount of additional animations. The players will be able to switch to the third-person view and back by clicking just one button.
As for the general updates in the versions of GTA V on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, the developers have brought to the game the additional animals (about 20 species), enhanced the level of detalization (actions, effects, etc.), increased the draw distance and expanded the functionality of DualShock 4. So now, the players can use the last one as a phone, a police radio, an emergency vehicle lightning, and change the weapons with its help.
It has also been revealed that the version of GTA V on PC will have a 4K resolution, and on PS4 and Xbox One the game will run at 1080p and 60fps.
