Yesterday, it was announced that Rise of the Tomb Raider game is coming exclusively for Xbox, while the owners of other platforms will be able to enjoy Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris. Now we'd like to ensure the fans that everything is not so bad, and the game will still hit other platforms.

Rise of the Tomb Raider game

First of all, we should specify that Rise of the Tomb Raider game will be launched on both Xbox One and Xbox 360 in 2015. But according to Phil Spencer - the head of the Xbox's department, - the exclusivity deal "has a duration". The same thing was with other exclusives - Dead Rising 3 and Ryse: Son of Rome, which come to PC this autumn, about a year after the launch of the Xbox One's versions.

So, we can ensure you that Rise of the Tomb Raider game will also appear on other platforms, but whether it will be only PC or Sony's consoles too, remains unknown now. Phil Spencer hasn't specified the platforms and even declined to voice the term of the above mentioned deal. We will wait until either the game's developer - Crystal Dynamics - or its publisher - Square Enix - announces their final decision.

In the meantime, you can watch the announcement project's trailer, having followed the link, and write us in the comments whether you wish Rise of the Tomb Raider game to be released on PC, PS4 and PS3.
