As you remember, recently, Blizzard has shared the list of specifications for PC, which are needed to launch the next World of Warcraft expansion - Warlords of Draenor - successfully. Bethesda company has decided to do the same and has published The Evil Within system requirements, but only the recommended ones, in the studio’s official blog.
It’s worth mentioning that some of the presented characteristics have already managed to astonish many gamers. Thus, according to the information, some players will probably have to change the video cards on their PCs so that the game may run exactly how the developers intend it to. - OS: Windows 7 64-bit/Windows 8;
- Processor: Core i7 with plus four cores;
- Memory: 4GB;
- Hard Drive: 50GB of free space;
- Graphics: GeForce GTX 670 or an equivalent with the memory of 4GB.
Besides that, the high speed Internet connection and a Steam account will be necessary for the game’s activation.
Don’t worry if the amount of the hard drive’s free space has become an unpleasant surprise for you. This is how Bethesda has commented concerning such a parameter: “It’s worth noting that the 50GB of space required is for the PC install. When the installation is complete, the game will take up ~41GB of HDD space”.
The studio has also noted that minimum The Evil Within system requirements won’t be published: “We do not have a list of minimum requirements for the game. If you’re trying to play with a rig with settings below these requirements, we cannot guarantee optimal performance”.
In conclusion, Bethesda has shared some information for the console owners. Thus, the upcoming survival horror will take 40GB of free space on PS4 and Xbox One and 7GB on PS3 and Xbox 360.
