Hello, all the Street Fighter V lovers! And those folks who still hesitate if it’s worth playing (it definetely is). The game was released on 16th February, and there are rushes of fans around it claiming how cool the game is. If you haven’t read our review - you’re welcome here to do it. Capcom announced some news that made a lot of gamers happier: the list of incoming March updates is revealed. Let’s find out more.

There will be two parts of this update, they come on 28th and 30th March. The thing developers are worried about is that the Zenny (currency purchased with real money) can’t be integrated into the in-game shop in March update, so you can’t purchase anything yet. You can get something new only by fighting and winning money, then you buy costumes or new characters. Still the absence of opportunity to buy something you really want is a huge pity for fans. That’s why developers decided to suprise you, folks, with the first DLC character that will be available for free - Alex - until the Zenny shop launches. I mean, that’s super cool, you can try him out to decide if you want one.

Another thing that completely shocked us was that this trial thing will apply to other DLC characters that whill appear before the shop launches. So you’d be able to try out more fighters.

"This also will apply to any future DLC character that releases prior to the Zenny shop launching. Once the Zenny shop launches, the free trial for any DLC characters that released prior to the Zenny shop opening will end, and players will need to either use Fight Money, Zenny, or the Season Pass to access those characters."

When the Zenny shop finally launches, Alex will cost 100,000 Fight Money (Street Fighter 5's in-game currency), and any of the character costumes will be 40,000 each.

"We have taken a long hard look at this part of the store, and after much review, have decided it is not ready to launch just yet," - Capcom added. - "As Zenny is purchased with real money, we wanted to be extra careful and make sure it’s fully tested and optimized before launching it. There is currently no ETA on the Zenny store and we will release it as soon as it’s ready."
