Xbox One vs. PS4 - the war continues

Xbox One vs. PS4 - the war continues by  2051 views

This isn’t a secret that the confrontation between two the biggest developers of the game stations - Sony and Microsoft - is very intense and lasts long enough, and each of them is trying to offer us something innovative. And although their latest consoles - Xbox One and PlayStation 4 - were released a few months ago, the battle between these giants of the game industry and their next-gen consoles is still quite fierce.

This time we will focus on the resolution in some upcoming games, the launch of which is scheduled for both consoles. Thus, recently the graphics resolution in such projects as Watch Dogs, The Witcher 3 and Thief on Xbox One and PS4 has become known. According to the several sources, Thief’s and Watch Dogs’ resolution on the console from Microsoft will be 900p at 30 frames per second, while The Witcher 3 game will be running on Xbox One with even poorer graphics resolution - 720p/30fps. The same games on the next-gen console from Sony will obviously look like much better: Thief’s and Watch Dogs’ resolution, for example, is 1080p, and The Witcher 3 game will run at 900p, although the developers of the latter one are trying hard to solve this problem now. All three projects will be playable at 30 frames per second.

It seems to us that in the fight Xbox One vs. PS4 in the question of graphic the first one loses, but the final decision is always up to you. We’d like to remind you that Thief game will be launched in 10 days, Watch Dogs - in a couple of months, and The Witcher 3 game - in autumn. And if the developers of the last two projects have some time and abilities to correct the problems with the graphics on Xbox One, then the resolution in Thief can hardly be changed.
