When answering to the fan’s question, Flynn said that now the company leads the negotiations concerning the possibility of porting the Mass Effect trilogy for PS4 and Xbox One, and once more details are available, BioWare will share them with the users.

So, if the developers actually confirm the release of the game series for the next-gen consoles, then the edition will probably include the whole additional content, which was launched during the game’s development. In this case the porting the Mass Effect trilogy for PS4 and Xbox One is going to take a while, considering the fact that now BioWare is working under the Mass Effect 4 game, which will be the sequel of the franchise.

Let us remind you that in November 2013 the first teasers of the upcoming project were published. The developers showed the images of the Mass Effect 4 game, and a couple of weeks later the rumours about some new races, which will be presented in the next part of the RPG, appeared.

Also the BioWare’s community-manager - Chris Priestly - stated that the Mass Effect 4 game will become neither a prequel nor a sequel of the trilogy. The next part of the project will get a totally new plot and characters.

And what do you think, is it necessary to port the Mass Effect trilogy for PS4 and Xbox One? Do you want to play this game again on the next-gen consoles?
