Yesterday, the first major Diablo III: Reaper of Souls update on PS4 and Xbox One was launched. Patch 2.1.0 added to the console versions of the project some new features and several additional locations and items, the detailed information about which we are going to share with you right now.
So, as for the features, thanks to the released patch, the What’s New screen has appeared in this action-RPG. It helps the players stay tuned for the latest innovations. All they have to do is login and press Start button.
Secondly, the first Diablo III: Reaper of Souls update on PS4 and Xbox One has brought to the game such items as Ramaladni’s Gift and Legendary Gems. The last ones have some quite powerful characteristics and can be encrusted to the various amulets and adornments. The Ramaladni’s Gift lets the gamers add a socket for these gems to any weapon.
Also, the launched Diablo III: Reaper of Souls update on PS4 and Xbox One includes the Greater Rifts, which are available in the Adventure mode only. The players are able to travel through these locations, leveling up from a simple setting to a harder one, and gather the Legendary Gems. In case the mission in the Greater Rift is completed successfully, the gamers receive two rewards at their choice: an opportunity to pass on the next level or a chance to upgrade the gathered jewels.
Besides that, the rifts (both the Greater and the Nephalem ones) include the special areas - the cesspools, - which were created randomly. Previously, they were destined to function as sewers, but now some useful items can be found in them.
And finally, the last addition from the latest Diablo III: Reaper of Souls update on PS4 and Xbox One is the Vault. It’s a location, which opens after the goblins are killed. Here, the players will face the Baroness Greed, the defeating of which guarantees access to the treasures.
