Yesterday, the developer of the lately released racing simulator - Codemasters studio - presented the first GRID Autosport DLC titled “Best of British”. It’s available on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 now. The company also published the fresh video, which shows the content of the add-on.
In the latest trailer, the project’s lead designer - Gehan Pathiraja - has told about three amazing sport cars. Each of them is assembled and produced in Great Britain. So, the first GRID Autosport DLC includes:
- Aston Martin Zagato V12 (2011) - this car has an Aston Martin V12 engine and a body, created by the Italian designers from Zagato company;
- McLaren Mercedes SLR 722 (2007) - this supercar has the powerful V8 engine. The developers have compared it to the English fighter aircraft of World War II - Supermarine Spitfire, - because of the sounds that it makes;
- McLaren F1 GTR (1995) - a great vehicle, which fits for the endurance racing.
The Season Pass owners can download the new GRID Autosport DLC totally for free. The rest of the players are able to purchase the add-on for £2.39/$2.99, depending on the region.
Before October 2014, Codemasters plans to please its fans with two more big GRID Autosport DLCs and several mini-expansions that will bring to the game the new cars, various tracks and a single-player championship.
