The developer of the best last year's adventure and one of the most interesting game studios - Telltale Games - may be working on Game of Thrones. No, not on the TV show or the first book from the extremely popular fantasy series, Telltale is going to create the game based on the above-mentioned story.
Telltale studio has already developed many different and specific adventures based on the TV shows or comic books. So the game about A Song of Ice and Fire (it is an actual name of the George Martin's book) more likely can be created by this developer than by another one. Moreover, the book has several POV characters, and the same type of storytelling was chosen in Telltale's 400 Days - The Walking Dead DLC. Also multiple resources reported that Game of Thrones is the new title of Telltale Games.
However, we don't want to give vain hope. This information is only a rumor that hasn't been officially confirmed. Moreover, the developers have answered to IGN almost an opposite thing: “We get these sorts of rumors about what we could be working on next cropping up all the time. Officially we have no comment.” But there is nothing concrete in this answer, so the hope is still alive.
