Resident Evil HD Remaster game is an upgraded version of the project, which was launched in 2002. The future survival horror will hit PC, current and last-gen consoles in Europe and NA on February 20th, 2015. The release will take place in a bit more than a month, so it’s right about time to find out, which parameters your PCs have to meet in order the forthcoming game run normally.
So, here are the first Resident Evil HD Remaster system requirements - the minimum ones:
- OS: Windows 7 SP1/8.1;
- RAM: 2GB;
- Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz or AMD Athlon X2 2.8GHz, or better;
- Hard Drive: 20GB of free space;
- Video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 or ATI Radeon HD 6790, or better;
- DirectX: 9.0c version;
- Sound card must be compatible with DirectSound, DirectX 9.0c and higher;
- Screen resolution: 1024×768p and higher;
- Input devices: a keyboard and a mouse. It’s also recommended to use a Genuine Xbox 360 controller compatible with PC or a gamepad, which is supported by XInput;
- Broadband Internet connection.
And the other Resident Evil HD Remaster system requirements - the recommended ones - look like this:

- Sound card compatible with DirectSound, DirectX 9.0c and higher;
- Screen resolution: 1280×720p and higher;
- Input devices: a keyboard and a mouse. It’s also recommended to use a Genuine Xbox 360 controller compatible with PC or a gamepad, which is supported by XInput;
- Broadband Internet connection.
