Just before the EA’s press conference on Gamescom 2014, Konami decided to reveal the official PES 2015 release date, the demo’s details and the game’s box art. All the appropriate information appeared on the project’s Facebook page about two hours ago.
Let’s start in order. PES 2015 release date will be rather late this year. The football simulator will be launched on the 13th of November. For the first time in the history of this franchise, it will hit not only PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 but also the new generation of consoles. FIFA 15 - the eternal competitor of Pro Evolution Soccer - is coming much earlier - at the end of September. So it seems that the developers will have plenty of time before the PES 2015 release date to react and implement something unique, which isn’t developed by EA.
Also, Konami has confirmed the demo version of PES 2015, release date of which is scheduled for the 17th of September - a week earlier than the launch of FIFA 15. The demo will be free, of course, but according to the official information, it will be available only for the console gamers.
And the last surprise for the fans is PES 2015 box art. This year, Mario Götze - the German footballer - will be the face of this simulator. You can look at the box art below:
