Yesterday, Japanese Capcom company in collaboration with Spark Unlimited (the company which develops the game) published a new small Lost Planet 3 gameplay trailer and shared some details about the multiplayer mode of this third-person shooter.
This two-minute Lost Planet 3 gameplay trailer, which you can watch below, shows us the struggle of the protagonist with the giant Akrids - the monsters that live in this snow-covered desert (in the opinion of the colonists) E.D.N. 3 planet.
In addition, Lost Planet 3 developers revealed a few more details about the game’s multiplayer. Previously we told you about two Lost planet 3 multiplayer modes, today we are happy to share the information about another one. In this mode, players will be divided into two teams (Nevec and pirates) of 5 players each. The purpose of the first team is to protect strategically important points on the game’s map, the participants of the second group have to keep the first ones from completing their task. The developers have even put the menu at the top left of the game's screen that displays which your objectives are achieved and your progress in general.
Such match lasts about 10 minutes, but the developers have said that there will be those who will take 20 minutes. At the end of the battle you will get your HP, which you can spend on the improvement of weapons and skills.
Also Vital Suits will be back in Lost Planet 3 game, that will protect you a little, but they will make you a larger target to draw the fire.
And last, but the best of all news is Lost Planet 3 release date. This third-person shooter will be released on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 in Europe on the 30th of August.
