Horizon: Zero Dawn - Aloy
Although this redhead explorer reminds us of Merida (the main character of Brave) Guerrilla Games boss Hermen Hulst, game director Mathijs De Jonge and art director Jan-Bart van Beek claim that they tried not to make a Disney princess while developing Aloy’s personality.
Horizon: Zero Dawn - Plot
There’s no scent of a fairytale in Horizon: Zero Dawn plot, there’s more of drama. Aloy is in misery: she tries to find her roots, at least a tiny piece of information about her parents. And as Horizon: Zero Dawn developers claim, not everyone is helpful: some people reject helping Aloy, they just ignore her. But eventually, she finds the support she was looking for.
Horizon: Zero Dawn - In-game World
This spiteful environment forms the brave, independent image full of enthusiasm and with no fear. That’s what Horizon: Zero Dawn actually needs in the protagonist: the in-game world is huge and scary, just take a look at Watchers from Horizon: Zero Dawn. Basically, the game is about exploration: at first part, Aloy discovers the world. Secondly - you do.
As we already mentioned in our article about anticipated games of 2017 - Horizon: Zero Dawn has enough potential to outtake Witcher 3 with its incredibly beautiful world. We’ll see how it goes.
Horizon: Zero Dawn release date is scheduled on February 28th, 2017.
