Last month we got an interesting rumor about Telltale studio, according to which the developers are working on Game of Thrones. Today with the great pleasure we would like to confirm this information. During VGX show the representatives of Telltale officially announced their upcoming project.
However, there is not much information about the future adventure based on A Song of Ice and Fire universe. The developers have told that lots of different characters from the book will be featured in the game, and, as always, the player will be creating the project's plot making various choices. Also we can assume that Game of Thrones from Telltale will be mostly based on the TV show itself, but not on the book, because in its first teaser, which was shown during VGX, we can hear the main theme of the series:
This Game of Thrones will be launched sometime in 2014 together with other Telltale's projects - The Walking Dead: Season Two, The Wolf Among Us and recently announced Tales from the Borderlands. The last game is an adventure that is created in the universe of popular Borderlands series, but will feature gameplay that is typical for Telltale.
