It seems that recently Codemasters has decided to please its fans with several cool news. Thus, last week, it was revealed that Overlord: Fellowship of Evil project is being in development. And earlier, the studio announced another instalment in the F1 series. But the listed games have turned out to be not the only ones that the company has prepared for the players.
Thus, yesterday, the new DiRT Rally game came out in Steam Early Access absolutely unexpectedly. So, why has Codemasters released the project’s unfinished version? The studio has explained its decision in the next way: “We want you to feel like part of the development team and help us build a better game”. Despite the incompleteness, the DiRT Rally game includes 35 racing tracks (Wales, Greece, Monte Carlo, etc.) and 17 cars, including the classic and modern models. According to Codemasters, in future, the DiRT Rally game will get more new content, which will be totally free. The routes of FIA World Rallycross Championship 2015 will be added as well.
The launched racing simulator will rejoice the players with daily, weekly and monthly competitions. They will also be able to hire and fire the team members and join up to six online leagues.
According to the official information, the DiRT Rally game will stay in Steam Early Access till the end of 2015. The release date of its full version isn’t specified yet. All who will purchase this simulator during the mentioned period will receive a free skin for Subaru Impreza (1995).
