This time Arkane Studios decided to show the Dishonored story from a completely different point of view. Knife of Dunwall DLC, as the main character of the new campaign, will be a mirror image of the Dishonored and Corvo.
Meet Daud, the assassin, glorious Dunwall resident and the Empress’ murderer! The storyline will be parallel to the original game and will begin when Corvo returns to town and finds out what has happened.
Daud describes himself as a dark twin of the hero, though he really feels bad because of his deeds. He is looking for Outsider, which he thinks will show him the way to redemption. In addition to the standard set of skills and weapons he can use two types of mines: the one with paralyzing gas and the other with electric charge that either kills or stuns the enemy, depending on the settings.
Also Daud will be able to use the " Assassin" skill, which will help him to "take away" the most difficult or awkward opponents. At the beginning of each mission players will be available to use the black trader’s shop where they can buy or improve weapons and equipment.
You will be able to download Knife of Dunwall DLC already on April 16 for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 for $9.99. In addition, the developers have decided to divide Knife of Dunwall dlc into two parts: "The Rothschild Slaughterhouse" and "Bridgemore Witches" that will be released in the Q2-Q3 2013.
