The launch of the second Star Wars: The Old Republic DLC, titled Galactic Strongholds, is delayed. This news has been announced by the BioWare’s producer - Bruce Maclean - at the official project’s site. Let us remind you that previously the release of this add-on in Early Access for the Premium users was planned for June 24th, 2014. And now the launch date of the new Star Wars: The Old Republic DLC is scheduled for August 19th.

According to Maclean, this decision is based on the necessity to polish all the details and to implement more various features, for example, the expanded functions for the guilds, the quests and events, the new characters, strongholds, decorations, etc. "When playing early builds of Galactic Strongholds it became that clear that our June Early Access date was simply not enough, - Maclean has said.”

The developers have also listened to the wishes of the players about the content they want to see in the next Star Wars: The Old Republic DLC. Besides the features mentioned above, the gamers will be able to create the settlements on the different planets and to send the invitations to their friends.

Taking into consideration the new release date, all the users, who doesn’t own the Premium subscription, will get access to the new Star Wars: The Old Republic DLC a little later - in September or October of 2014, depending on the account status.
