Recently the new Warhammer 40,000: Chess - Regicide game has been announced. It will be the next part in the popular series of the real-time strategies from the Games Workshop company. This project will combine the classic Warhammer universe with the tactical chess gameplay. It will be developed with the usage of the 3D technologies, and the main accent will be made on the spectacular visual effects and the high-quality animation.
Warhammer 40,000: Chess - Regicide game will include the upgraded characters from different races, which will be united in seven factions. The players will have to gather their team from them. And those gamers, who will get a premium account in the first 30 days after the project’s launch, will receive the whole Space Marines army as a gift.
The players will be able to play both in various classic multiplayer modes and a single campaign, titled Blood Angels, which is developed on the base of new Codex chess engine.
Moreover, Warhammer 40,000: Chess - Regicide game is planned to be released by the end of the current year on several platforms, but for now the specialists from Games Workshop haven’t revealed their exact list. Perhaps, this new project will also hit the phones and the tablets.
