Virtual Reality is getting closer to our actual reality, and soon it may completely change the gaming industry. Naturally that the innovations in this area started from well-known Valve company, where yesterday for the first time Oculus Rift support was embedded into Team Fortress 2 game.

Oculus Rift is a next-gen headset that gives you unique gaming experience - virtual reality and the sense of presence in the game. Oculus Rift release date hasn't been announced yet, but it is rumored that this innovative headset will be available this spring. The first game that will be supporting Oculus Rift is Team Fortress 2, and it is pleasant to hear that virtual reality mode in the game will be free for all Steam users.

Team Fortress 2 game is a multiplayer online shooter and very popular game in Steam base. Oculus Rift support here will be provided by special experimental Virtual Reality mode. This mode is a little bit cut and doesn't support several standard actions, but it is only a beta-version, so later we can rely on complete virtual reality in Team Fortress 2 game.

Valve's team is very excited about the new mode. Joe Ludwig, the programmer, says: "VR is just getting started, but it is going to have a big impact on gaming". And we hope that after Oculus Rift release date finally comes, everyone will be able to experience the magic of game's virtual reality.
