Recently the game’s developer - Guerrilla Games company - has announced the first Killzone: Shadow Fall DLC, which will hit the market in April 2014. The price of the add-on will be $9.99/€9.99, depending on the region, and the Season Pass owners will be able to get the additional content for free.
As it turned out, the Killzone: Shadow Fall DLC will include a new class, titled The Insurgent. At the beginning of the game its members won’t have anything, except for the pistol and two special skills: Steal and Hack, with the help of which the users will be able to improve the characters, expand the arsenal of armour and hack the enemy’s machines.
Besides that, the Killzone: Shadow Fall DLC includes three additional types of weapon:
- the Sta14 and M82 rifles, which are already known from the previous parts in the game series - Killzone 2 and Killzone 3;
- 512 SMG pistol.
The next updates in the first Killzone: Shadow Fall DLC will be three new abilities for the Scout, Support and Assault classes. The scouts will get an E-Pulse emitter to prevent installing the enemy’s equipment; the assaulters will have a Guard Drone; and finally, the members of the Support class will receive a Tactical Echo emitter.
The players will also get a chance to take some new quests to earn the additional points and trophies.
Moreover, the Killzone: Shadow Fall DLC provides a new Elite Mode, available for a single-player. The users will have to complete it on the hard difficulty level with only three lives.
It’s worth saying that yesterday Guerrilla Games added to the game two free multiplayer maps - The Cruiser and The Hangar. More details about them you may find in the trailers below:
