Recently the information concerning the second episode of the Burial At Sea DLC, which will get the totally new mode, titled 1998, has appeared online. The players will face the uneasy challenge and will have to complete the mission without any weapon and non-lethal outcome not only for themselves, but also for the enemies.
According to the developers, the creation of this difficulty level was inspired by the Thief: The Dark Project game. It also comes from the image, published by Irrational Games, which may remind you the box-art of the first part in Thief series.
Besides, the company’s creative director - Ken Levin - has stated that the gameplay of the Burial At Sea DLC is concentrated on the stealth-mechanics and the balance. When the developers received a lot of positive reviews about the hardcore 1999 mode, which was implemented to the BioShock Infinite game earlier, they decided to complete the add-on with the similar difficulty level.
The second episode of the Burial At Sea DLC is to be released on March 25, 2014 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. The add-on will be the conclusion of the Bioshock Infinite game series.
Let us remind you that earlier Irrational Games company announced its shutting down. And we still have no idea if the sequel of the popular shooter will be developed by the other studio or not.
And what do you think about the new stealth mode in the Burial At Sea DLC? Have you managed to complete successfully the 1999 one?
