The Ubisoft’s action-adventure series - Assassin’s Creed - entered the post-production phase. This is a hugely anticipated premiere, and we’d like to present some screenshots published by Spanish site Omelete:
Directed by Justin Kurzel (who helmed last year's Macbeth), the movie hits cinemas on December 21, 2016. The main character in Assassin's Creed is performed by Michael Fassbender, you will also see Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons, Brendan Gleeson and Michael Kenneth Williams in this movie. The official trailer was published yesterday, and here it is:
The official report about the movie’s in-development phase was proclaimed in March 2016. It was also told about that Fassbender plays the main character.
As you know, there’s no new mainline Assassin's Creed game coming this year, so that’s a huge opportunity for the movie’s marketing team to promote the film.
In a recent interview, Fassbender told that The Matrix is kind of inspiration for Assassin's Creed.
"This idea of DNA memory elevates it from a basic fantasy genre because you have something that audience can actually believe in," - he said. "Then the journey becomes so much more elevated because you're on board in a different way".
Fassbender also said CG shots won’t be the priority in the movie. Among all the specific Assassin’s Creed stuff, it will include the "leap of faith" jumps, and at least one of which was performed by a stuntman who leapt 120 feet (!!!) without a rope.
