Have you finished all your games and are waiting for something new and exciting? Then you are at the right place, because today we are going to tell which interesting projects will be launched in August.

Although the summer’s months are usually poor on game releases, August of this year has rejoiced us, because it’s full of the interesting projects’ launches. So we won’t waste time and present you the list of the most exciting August game releases. We also hope that you will find at least one game for you.

Sacred 3

And the first project in our list is Sacred 3 game - the next instalment in the quite popular RPG series, the action of which unfolds in the fantasy world, entitled Ancaria. Here the gamers will have to keep the game’s antatagonist - Zane Ashen - from obtaining a powerful artifact, which can destroy Ancaria.

Sacred 3 release is scheduled for the 1st of August in Europe and for the 5th in NA, and the game will be launched on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Ultra Street Fighter IV

Another project, the release of which will take place in August, is the updated version of Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition - the game, which was launched in 2011. In this fighting project, 5 new characters, additional modes and lots of other improvements, based on the multiple users’ feedbacks, await you.

Ultra Street Fighter IV game will hit the stores on the 8th of August, it will be available on PC.

Risen 3: Titan Lords

The next game, which is included in our list of August game releases, is the third part in the quite popular Risen series. This new RPG will provide you with another protagonist, which wants to settle accounts with Titan Lords, the beautiful world, the significantly improved gameplay and even with new locations. So if you are interested in this project or you are a fan of the whole series, then we advise you to watch the video, published below, which describes the main features of the upcoming game.

The release of Risen 3: Titan Lords game will take place on the 12th of August in the North America and on the 15th in Europe. The project will be launched on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

King's Bounty: Dark Side

Those who like the turn-based strategies and RPG in one, will adore this game, the release of which is scheduled for the 14th of August. The next instalment in King's Bounty game series will rejoice the gamers with the possibility to choose not only the new characters, but also their races, to explore lots of different locations, to take part in the fresh quests and to search for the various artifacts. If you want to know more about this game, then we suggest you watching the trailer, presented below, or if you are already interested in it, pay attention to the fact that the game will be launched only on PC. /p>

Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare

And of course, we just couldn’t help including the shooter with the elements of Tower Defense - Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare - into August game releases. If you really like killing the hordes of zombies in an unobtrusive way or vice versa you want to play on their side, then this game fits for you the best.

This project will hit the stores on the 19th of August in NA and in two days in Europe. This month the game will be available for the owners of Sony’s consoles.

Wasteland 2

It seems that the next month is full of RPGs’ releases. Besides Sacred 3, Risen 3: Titan Lords and King's Bounty: Dark Side, which we have described above, another one project in this genre - Wasteland 2 - will appear on the stores’ shelves in August. Unlike the other RPGs, named previously, the action of this game will unfold not in the fantasy world, but in our post apocalyptic one, where the players will have to survive after a terrible nuclear catastrophe, find and help other people.

Wasteland 2 game will be available on the 29th of August on Linux, Mac and Windows.

Metro Redux

Another one project, or to be more exact, the collection of two significantly improved games - Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light, - which ends our August game releases, is Metro Redux. If you are a real fan of the series or just want to see how the updated versions of the abovementioned games look like, then buy this collection, the release of which will take place on the 26th of August in NA and three days later in Europe.
