This information has come from the official Russian Twitter account of The Sims 4 game. Last week, it was reported that the upcoming project will get an R18+ rating in Russia and the countries of the CIS. The above mentioned restriction is assigned to the law number 436-FZ, which forbids any kind of information harmful to the health and development of children.

Most likely, The Sims 4 game is getting a new rating due to the same-sex relationships that are provided by the developers. This feature was available in the previous instalments of the series too, but only in 2013 Russia prohibited the propaganda of non-traditional sexual relationships.

However, a digital piracy is popular in Russia, and it seems that The Sims 4 game will still find its fans, no matter of their age. And what do you think about the project's rating? Are you waiting for The Sims 4 game's release? Let us know in the comments below.
