Last week, The Sims community was shocked by the announcement that the pools and toddlers won't be included into the upcoming instalment of the most famous life simulation series. Yesterday, the developers tried to explain the absence of these features and also announced The Sims 4 demo version.
Well, let's start from the bad news. Neither pools nor toddlers will be available in The Sims 4 game, because the developers have no time to embed these features. According to the official blog, the upcoming instalment will include the brand-new AI and animation systems, lots of additional tools and exciting content. All these things will "bring your Sims to life" via the emotions and behavior, which have never been presented in the series before.
The developers are sure that it is better to concentrate on the emotions of the adult sims than to develop flat toddlers, and the new features of the Build Mode will be more interesting for players than the ordinary pools. However, it doesn't mean that we will never see these features in the upcoming instalment. They may be added in one of the numerous DLCs, which always accompany all the games in this series.
And what do you think? Are pools and babies important for you? Write us in the comments below, but before you start criticizing the developers, we want you to read another one news. Maxis has announced that The Sims 4 demo will be released at the end of the summer. The Sims 4 demo will be completely free for all gamers and will allow you to create your sim. By the way, we have already shown you the process of character creation in our previous article.
