In a week a new year will begin and will bring us new games, announcements and releases. But already today we know about lots of different projects that are going to be launched during the next 12 months. Let's try to choose the most anticipated games of 2014 among them!
20. Everybody's Gone to the Rapture
The PS4 exclusive - Everybody's Gone to the Rapture - is an upcoming action, in which there will be six main characters and each of them will tell us his own story about how to survive the apocalypse. The developers have promised to provide us with the huge open world and exciting story here, and as the first trailer says us, this game will start "after the end of the world".
The next year's project from Capcom will be developed in the genre of free-to-play online role-playing game with the fantasy atmosphere. In Deep Down you will be playing a role of a medieval knight, who will be exploring the deep dungeons and killing their dangerous inhabitants. Your main weapons here will be swords and magic spells.
The very anticipated continuation of the famous fantasy action game is going to be released next year, in autumn. This part of the Dragon Age series has been under development since 2011, but finally after several months it will be launched for the fans. In the upcoming game you will be playing a role of the inquisition's leader.
The Order 1886 game will tell us an alternative story of London at the end of the nineteenth century. Here you will see almost valid landscapes of old Europe, but with mysterious inhabitants - monsters - and the gadgets that were not invented at that time. Should be interesting.

For now there are not many details about Game of Thrones, but next year the new information will be obviously announced together with the release of other Telltale's popular project - The Walking Dead: Season Two.

Here you will be able to experience the time travelling and fantastic abilities and also to find yourself in the antagonist's shoes.
Infamous: Second Son game in some way looks like the previous item in our list - Quantum Break. In this project your character will also get the super powers and will try to interact with the dangerous world, using them. However, this game is an exclusive for the second next-gen console - PlayStation 4. The project is coming in March.
The Division is an upcoming online multiplayer game that combines two genres - action-RPG and third-person shooter. The project is being developed by Ubisoft for the next generation of consoles and PC. Here you will be a part of the division that will try to save the world after another one epidemic.
Our most anticipated games of 2014 won't be full without the project about a zombie apocalypse, and so we introduce Dying Light. This first-person survival horror is under development in Techland and will be released during the next year for PC, current and next generations of consoles. In this game you will be able to play as an ordinary warrior and kill big and dangerous robots, using the agility and slyness. Also you may choose a titan as your character and destroy all enemies on your way with your enormous power. Titanfall game will be released in March for PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
6. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
One of the greatest Konami's series is going to get an anticipated continuation next year. Metal Gear Solid V will let you explore a large open world, play as Snake, meet thousands of enemies and see lots of the developers' innovations. The accurate release date of MGS5 is still unknown, but we hope it will be launched next year.
An ambitious MMORPG from ZeniMax is also among our the most anticipated games of 2014. The Elder Scrolls Online has been under development for several years, and finally this spring we will see the version for PC and Mac and then in summer - Xbox One and PS4 ESO games. The project will be set 1000 years before the events of Skyrim on the beautiful and familiar for the fans Tamriel continent.
This exciting stealth-action game is also the part of the famous series. Thief tells us about the mysterious City, which is in great danger, and about a virtuosic stealer - Garrett, - who can save his motherland and of course thieve lots of treasures. The game will be released in February for PC, next and current generations of consoles.
