Watch Dogs release date is moved to 2014

Watch Dogs release date is moved to 2014 by  3353 views

Yesterday Ubisoft incredibly pleased us with the fact that one of its the most anticipated this year’s project - Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag - will be launched ahead of schedule for PS3 and Xbox 360, and then it upset us, having said that its two products would be released later, in 2014.

Thus, Watch Dogs release date is postponed to the spring of 2014 (and it had to be released in late November) due to the fact that the developers simply do not have time to do all that they are planning (especially for the next generation of consoles).

"Our ambition from the start with Watch_Dogs has been to deliver something that embodies what we wanted to see in the next-generation of gaming. It is with this in mind that we’ve made the tough decision to delay the release until Spring 2014."

As Ubisoft’s representatives have reported, the main thing for the company is the quality of the game, so when all the pieces of Watch_Dogs were falling into place, it became clear that the developers needed to take the extra time to polish and fine tune every detail of the game, so they came to a such difficult and unpleasant for all gamers decision.

Besides Watch Dogs game another one Ubisoft’s project - The Crew (racing simulator for PS3, PS4 and Xbox One) - has been postponed to the middle - late spring of the next year.

What do you think about the fact that Watch Dogs release date has been moved? Has it influenced on your decision to buy the game? Leave your comments at the bottom of the page.
