In addition to yesterday’s announcement of the next instalment in the Assassin’s Creed series, Ubisoft company shared some new information about its other highly-anticipated projects. Thus, during the press conference, which was dedicated to the results of the past fiscal year and the future plans, the new Tom Clancy’s The Division release date has been revealed.

Let us remind you that previously the release of this project had to take place at the end of 2014 or at the beginning of 2015. However, later, the Tom Clancy’s The Division release date was postponed until the end of current year. Then, the developers explained such a decision with a necessity to make the project fully completed. But, as we see now, the game’s creators need more time to polish the various details. Thus, the Tom Clancy’s The Division release date is scheduled for Q1 2016. It means that the shooter will hit PC, PS4 and Xbox One in a period from January 1st till March 31st.

“It is never an easy decision to move launch dates, but we are committed to make decisions that will benefit the players”, - the Ubisoft’s CEO - Yves Guillemot - has said.

Besides, Yves Guillemot has stated that obviously before the shooter’s launch the developers would like to gather feedbacks and commentaries from the players who will take part in the alpha or beta tests. They will help the game’s creators to find out which project’s moments require more attention. Actually, it means that Ubisoft will hold the above mentioned tests before the shooter is released in Q1 2016.

By the way, the same quarter, for which the new Tom Clancy’s The Division release date is planned, the launch of another AAA game from Ubisoft is scheduled. Unfortunately, there’s no additional information about this mysterious project yet.
