Last week, Treyarch Studios - the developer of the next part in the CoD: Black Ops series - revealed the start date of the upcoming project’s beta. Several days ago, the company told more details about the testing as well as shared some information concerning the future game’s new Zombies mode.
So, according to the official reports, CoD: Black Ops 3 beta on PS4 will begin on August 19th and will last five days - till August 23rd. The testing will be open, but access to it will be given only to those who pre-order the new game before this date. CoD: Black Ops 3 beta on PS4 will be exclusive. Probably, the owners of PC, Xbox One and last-gen consoles will be able to try the upcoming project a bit later. However, there are no details concerning the testing on the listed platforms so far.
And now, let’s move on to the news about the Zombies mode titled Shadows of Evil, which will be included into the future shooter. The developers have published the latest CoD: Black Ops 3 trailer dedicated to it.
In this mode, the players will dive into 1940’s. The team will consist of four characters, the roles of whom will be performed by the famous Hollywood actors:
- The Magician - Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic Park, Fly);
- The Boxer - Robert Picardo (Star Trek movie series);
- The Femme-Fatale - Heather Graham (Shout, Killing Me Softly);
- The Cop - Neal McDonough (Captain America: The First Avenger, Red 2).
The heroes will have to overcome many dangerous difficulties in order to solve lots of mysterious puzzles.
Also, one more CoD: Black Ops 3 trailer has been published recently. This time, the video demonstrates the bonus map titled The Giant. It’s an upgraded version of the Der Rise location. It will be available in the Zombies mode as well. However, this map will become available only for those who purchase the future project’s special editions - Juggernog Collector’s Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition or Hardened Edition.
As the presented CoD: Black Ops 3 trailer shows, the map will be set in the Nazi’s large research center, where the players will have to fight against numerous zombies of the Third Reich.
