As he explained, such a decision was made, because the new title matches more perfectly to the plot and the footage. And now, we are able to make sure of that by ourselves. Recently, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies movie has got the official synopsis.
According to the press release, presented by Warner Bros. company, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies movie will tell the story of Bilbo Baggins, Thorin Oakenshield and the company of Dwarves. After the events, which took place in the second part of the trilogy, the furious Smaug tries to destroy the Lake-city and its helpless citizens.
At the same time, Thorin changes the friendship and honor for the treasures, which make him obsessed. All the Bilbo’s efforts to convince his friend and prove the truth lead to failure, and the Hobbit faces the dangerous choice. But these aren’t all the risks that our characters are going to meet on their way.
The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies movie will also show us the main enemy - Sauron, - who sends four legions of Orcs to the Lonely mountain in order to possess the values. And this time, the Dwarves, the Elves and the Men must decide whether they unite or wait till the evil forces vanish them. And this is how the epic combat for the future of the Middle-earth begins.
