UPD.: Electronic Arts has just reported about the postponement of Need for Speed release on PC. The developers need more time to polish this version of the future game. According to the official statement, Need for Speed will hit PC in spring 2016. The players will get all additional content, which will be available on consoles by that time, at project's launch.
The launch of the iconic Need for Speed series’ reboot is not far away. The release of the next instalment in the franchise is planned for the beginning of November 2015. So, recently, the developers of the future game have announced the registration for Need for Speed closed beta.
It should be mentioned that only the owners of current-gen consoles will be able to participate in the upcoming testing. Unfortunately, no information concerning Need for Speed closed beta on PC was provided so far. The players can sign up for testing till September 25th. All they have to do is enter a special section on the project’s official site. By the way, according to the official information, Need for Speed closed beta will be available in such regions as US, Canada, Japan and Europe. Please, note that EA/Origin account is required to sign up for the future testing.
“By taking part in the Closed Beta you will help us perform a number of technical tests that will help the team at Ghost Games prepare for launch as we continue development of the game,” - the Need for Speed creators said.
