Following the yesterday’s report about the delay of Batman: Arkham Knight release, some new rumors concerning two previous games in the series - Arkham City and Arkham Asylum - have appeared online. According to some unofficial (but, as it’s said, reliable) sources of IGN Italy portal, Rocksteady company wants to launch the first and the second instalments of Batman: Arkham on PS4 and Xbox One. As for one more part of the franchise - Arkham Origins, - there’s neither official nor unconfirmed information about the possibility of its porting on the current-gen consoles so far.
The same anonymous sources state that the players will be able to try two remastered projects of Batman: Arkham on PS4 and Xbox One at the end of this year - sometime during the holiday season 2015. It’s quite possible that the appeared gossip might be true. If so, then the Arkham Knight’s postponement is reasonable. The developers just may not have enough time to complete the project and polish all necessary details within the set time limits.
The remastered games of Batman: Arkham on PS4 and Xbox One will allegedly run at 1080p and 60fps. Let us remind you once again that the listed information is unofficial. Neither confirmation nor denial from the series’ developer or publisher has been provided yet. However, we all know that there is no smoke without fire.
