Recently Resident Evil 6 movie has got some new details. In one of the interviews, the script writer and the director of the sixth part in the popular film franchise - Paul Anderson - has told the latest news about the upcoming project.
So, according to Anderson, Resident Evil 6 movie, probably, will be the conclusion in the series, because for the current moment its working title is Final Chapter, which clearly leads to such thoughts. “Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is the working title. It may end up being the final title, but that’s what’s written on the front page of my script”, - Paul has said.
Besides that, so far Resident Evil 6 movie has got only the first draft of the future script. And apparently, it will also have some changes. So it’s quite early to talk about the start of shooting, much less about the project’s release date. “There are no set dates for shooting yet. I think we’re waiting until we have a first draft screenplay and then go from there”, - Paul has mentioned.
Let us remind you that previously the launch date of the next part in the series was rescheduled for 2015.
Meanwhile, Anderson has confessed that because of the tight connection with this media franchise, he has got the offer to work on another movie, based on the video game. But now Paul isn’t ready for such cooperation. “I wouldn't want to do video game movie after video game movie", - he has said.
