Gearbox Software’ director, Randy Pitchford, in his Twitter said that the company is currently working on a new big plot Borderlands 2’ DLC. Unfortunately, he hasn’t revealed any details, but said that:
"... it will prolong and expand the main campaign, raise the cap level and, most of all, the game gets the sixth hero ..."
What of this is true and what publicity stunt, it is not clear, but soon we’ll learn with what the developers please us (or upset like with Aliens: Colonial Marines). A new Borderlands 2’ DLC will be free for Season Pass holders, and the rest will have to pay about $ 15 for the new content pack.
Additionally Gearbox has released the CD with all current add-on’s, at a price of $ 29.99, which includes:
