BioWare and Electronic Arts studios are working on the new Star Wars: The Old Republic DLC titled Shadow of Revan. The add-on is planned to be released on December 9th, 2014. According to the official information, it will be priced at $19.99. Besides the content, which will be included into the upcoming expansion, the developers have shared the information concerning the pre-order bonuses, but first things first.
The next Star Wars: The Old Republic DLC is dedicated to one of the key characters in the series - Revan. “A long-hidden sect of extremists has emerged from the ongoing war between the Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic. This group is led by Revan, the former hero of the Jedi Civil War. These fanatical “Revanites” are gathering an army with an apocalyptic plan that will leave the Republic and the Empire in ashes. Players will prepare to face Revan and adventure alongside a host of intriguing characters, including Theron Shan, Lana Beniko, and Jakarro the Wookiee”, - the description of the expansion on the official project’s site says.
The future add-on will bring to the game several new locations and five additional levels with different missions. Moreover, the players will have an opportunity to develop their hero up to the 60th level.
The gamers can pre-order Star Wars: The Old Republic DLC now in the official project’s online store. But it’s worth mentioning that the number of bonuses for its purchasing will depend on a date, when the request is placed. Thus, if the gamers pre-order Star Wars: The Old Republic DLC by November 2nd, they will get the following:
- Early Access to the Shadow of Revan add-on for one week starting from December 2nd;
- the digital copy of the Rise of the Hutt Cartel expansion;
- an exclusive grand statue of Raven, which can be displayed in the strongholds.
If the players pre-order Star Wars: The Old Republic DLC by December 1st, they will receive only the second and the third items from the above presented list.
And the subscribers, who have already got all the abovementioned gifts, will get an ability to increase their experience during the missions twelve times faster. But the validity period of such a bonus expires on December 1st.
