Recently, Techland studio has celebrated half a year since the Dying Light release took place. In the trailer dedicated to this anniversary, the developers have demonstrated several episodes of the project’s next expansion. And yesterday, they announced the new Dying Light DLC titled The Following.
The upcoming add-on will be quite scale. As it’s reported, it will bring to the game the new storyline, missions, types of weapon, equipment and vehicles - the dune buggies.
According to the Techland’s producer - Tymon Smektala, - the upcoming Dying Light DLC will include several very bold changes that will let “create one massive expansion”. “The new map alone is the same size as all the previous maps from Dying Light combined, so there is a lot we’re packing in here”, - he has said.
“We also kept a close eye on player feedback to help tailor what we’ve created here. Hopefully people will see that this new expansion is first and foremost, for the fans”, - the Techland’s producer has added.
The Season Pass owners will be able to download the future Dying Light DLC free of charge. The add-on will also be available as a separate purchase. However, the developers haven’t share the information concerning its price and exact release date. But they have hinted that the new expansion will be launched sometime after gamescom 2015 event. By the way, at this conference, the new DLC will be demonstrated behind the closed doors.
