And finally, the developers have decided to reveal the intrigue and have pleased the fans of the franchise with the new information not only about the shooter, but also concerning the TV series.
So, Halo 5: Guardians game will get another one character - Agent Locke. His history will be told in the Halo Nightfall digital series, which is being produced by Ridley Scott.
According to the general manager of 343 Industries - Bonnie Ross, - Agent Locke will play a key role in the new project. "We're using Halo Nightfall digital series to basically tell his backstory and tell his origin story. You don't have to watch this, but knowing this will kind of tee you up for all the new things that are going on in Halo 5: Guardians", - Ross has said at the E3 press-conference.
Halo Nightfall digital series is currently in production. The creators promise to reveal more information about the show and its connection with the game at the Comic-Con event in San Diego this year.
The new project is planned to appear exclusively for Xbox One only in 2015. But on December 27th, 2014 the Halo 5: Guardians beta starts. To get access to the testing, at least now, the players may get only after purchasing Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
The Halo 5: Guardians beta will last for three weeks, and the gamers will be able to test the multiplayer mode and get the first impressions from the next-gen shooter.
