If you remember, almost two months ago Bethesda announced that everyone who would pre-order Wolfenstein: The New Order game, the release date of which is scheduled for the end of May, would get an exclusive key to the beta test of another Bethesda’s project - Doom 4.
Wolfenstein: The New Order release is planned for the current and next-gen consoles, as well as for PC, so it would be logical to think that Doom 4 beta will be held on the same platforms. But as it turned out, it isn’t true. Recently the project’s publisher - Bethesda company - has announced that Doom 4 beta test will be available only on three platforms - PS4, Xbox One and PC. As for the users who will pre-order Wolfenstein: The New Order for PS3 or Xbox 360, they will be provided with the keys to the beta for PS4 and Xbox One respectively. Also it has become known that the owners of Microsoft’s consoles, unlike those who have PS3 and PS4, will need Xbox Live Gold subscription in order to get access to the beta.
As for the date when Doom 4 beta test will begin or some conditions of its holding, there is no information so far. So we advise you, dear friends, to stay with us in order to keep abreast of the latest news.
