After long negotiations Rovio finally announced their full-length animated Angry Birds movie, that is scheduled for summer 2016. The developers have already chosen the producers for this project: John Cohen, who worked on "Despicable Me", and David Maisel, the formal chief of Marvel Studio.
Rovio will be finance the entire movie making process, and wants this project to be made outside of the studio system. The scenario of this new 3D movie still remains unknown, but it won't be only about catapult and birds in it.
The news about movie announcement came just on the third anniversary of Angry Birds game. On the 11th of December, 2009, first Angry Birds for Apple iOS was released, and since that date till now paid and free Angry Birds games are extremely famous all over the world.
