Rovio Entertainment company, the creator of the famous Angry Birds game series, has decided that its product should penetrate into all spheres of our life. Recently we have reported that the company’s employees have developed a unique educational curriculum - Angry Birds Playground, and today we want to tell you what is happening with the animated film based on the Angry Birds game, that was announced at the end of 2012.
So, yesterday Rovio Entertainment told that the co-directors of the future full-length 3D Angry Birds movie will be Clay Kaytis, who has been worked at Disney for 20 years and is famous thanks to such films as "Tangled", "Pocahontas" and "Wreck-It Ralph", and Fergal Reilly, the storyboard artist of Sony, who wrote the scenarios for such projects as "Hotel Transylvania", "Spider-Man 2" and many others.
According to Mikael Hed, Rovio Entertainment CEO, they are very pleased that two such talented people have joined their team.
"They are two of the brightest rising talents in animation, and I'm confident we are building the right team to tell the story of Angry Birds and deliver an amazing movie experience to our fans."
Let us recall that Angry Birds movie will be released in the summer of 2016. The project is completely financed by Rovio, and Clay Kaytis and Fergal Reilly, as we already know, will be its directors. Considering all these facts, we can hope that this animated movie will be really cool.
