The actress who played the role of Neytiri in the sensational James Cameron’s blockbuster - Zoe Saldana - has shared some information concerning the time, needed for the creation of the Avatar sequels.
In her interview to The Daily Mirror, Zoe has stressed that for the current moment the scripts of the next three movies are at the finishing stage: “James Cameron is still working on the final drafts of the script and then everyone in the cast will get the call. We’re going to be shooting mainly in Los Angeles and that will make things easier for me since I live there. Because we’re doing the sequels back-to-back and it’s going to take at least eight or nine months or more to finish the (three) films”.
The Avatar sequels will tell us about the new adventures of the Na’vi race and its struggle for survival with the army of humans. If the process of the projects’ creation goes as it’s planned, then we’ll see the motion picture’s premieres in 2016, 2017 and 2018 accordingly. Let us remind you that the shooting must start at the end of this year.
Besides Zoe Saldana, the other actors who played in the previous part of the movie series will participate in the upcoming Avatar sequels. Among them there are Sam Worthington, Stephen Lang and Sigourney Weaver.
