The American game developer - Zombie Studios - has revealed the Daylight release date. According to the company’s director - Jarred Gerritzen, - the upcoming project will be launched for PC and PS4 in April 2014. Previously the Daylight release date was announced for early 2014.
The Daylight game is a first-person survival horror, where the users are going to try themselves in a role of a woman, who wakes up in the dark abandoned asylum, and all she has is a smartphone. Using the phone as a flashlight and compass, the players will have to explore the territory of the hospital, which has a bad reputation, face many ghosts of the dead mental patients and solve the terrifying mysteries.
Let us remind you that about a month ago Zombie Studios published a debut trailer of the Daylight game, which showed the short gameplay and several locations.
Besides, the users will have a chance to feel the really horrifying atmosphere thanks to the virtual reality technology - Oculus Rift. The levels in the Daylight game are developed according to all the rules of the survival horror genre, so you never know what chilling surprise awaits you just round the next corner.
