The plot was developed by Seth Rogen and his regular filmmaking partner Evan Goldberg. The co-stars are Ruth Negga and Joseph Gilgun. Preacher was created by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon, and first published in 1995 by the DC imprint Vertigo to huge acclaim. It ran for a total of 75 issues, including several one-off specials and a limited series.
Preacher premieres at 10pm ET/PT on May 22, 2016.
