According to the studio’s lead designer - Kevin Martens, - once the player defeats the last boss in Act 5 successfully, access to the Adventure mode in the Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls DLC will be opened. The users will be able to add their already existing or new character to the game.
The main goal in the Adventure mode is to beat all the enemies, gather the loot and level up. Besides, the players may easily switch to the Campaign mode, and according to the senior level designer - Larra Paolilli, - the Adventure Mode in the Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls DLC offers the freedom of action and allows you to play shorter sessions.
In addition, the details concerning the new leveling system, titled Paragon 2.0, in the Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls DLC have appeared online. The feature will expand the character’s opportunities to level up. According to the published information, Paragon 2.0 will help earning new ranks and experience endlessly. Also the system will be common for all players, however the achievements will be assigned depending on what mode the characters were created in - Normal or Hardcore.
Moreover, Paragon 2.0 in the Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls DLC will give a chance to get some special points for each level, which later may be distributed to the heroes’ characteristics.
